Achievements
BACTERIA
- Thermal shock construction
- IT WORKS!
- Found cheaters (as predicted in modelling!)
- Glucose stress construction
- IT WORKS!
- Nitrogen stress construction:
- It hasn’t worked yet, but the problem has been identified and we are performing the experiments to solve it!
YEAST
- Successfully transformed E. coli with both constructions
- Successfully transformed yeast with one of them, and trying hard for the next one!
HUMAN PRACTICES
- Shot a short film to show to several audiences and analyze their opinion on ethical subjects
- Studied and answered safety questions
