Glycerol stock preparation
Goal
Glycerol stock is a way to store bacteria for a long period.Protocol
You need to:- Grow a liquid culture overnight.
- Prepare sterile 80% glycerol.
- Mix 200 µL of glycerol and 800 µL of liquid culture.
Then store the glycerol stock at -80°C.
