This busy and exciting summer we managed to successfully couple fnr and sboA promoters with the reporter genes in a B. subtilis plasmid backbone designed by our team. Our bacteria - even when closed in a sticker - respond to rotten meat volatiles and produce a pigment output visible by naked eye. We have constructed the Food Warden!
More details can be found on our Data Page.
| This busy and exciting summer we managed to successfully couple fnr and sboA promoters with the reporter genes in a B. subtilis plasmid backbone designed by our team.
