Culturing Synechococcus elongatusin solid medium.
Reagents and Materials
- BG-11 solid.
- Parafilm.
- Erlenmeyer flask.
- Lighter.
- S. elongatus strain.
- Sowing handle.
Protocol
- Add 0’1μl of S. elongatus in a plate, BG-11 solid.
- Sterilize the inoculating loop with the lighter, cool and speed across the plate.
- Finally, sealed with parafilm.
