#3 Chemoreceptor Library - 2nd Week

Amplification of tar gene

Experiment:
PCR was performed over night with the Tar forward and reverse primers using Pfu polymerase and the isolated genomic DNA from DH10B as template according to protocol.

Amplification of tar gene

Experiment:
PCR was controlled by running a 1% agarose gel. As standard, Gene Ruler 1kb ladder (ThermoScientific) was used.
Observations & Results:
A band at about 1.6 kb was detected. Amplification of tar was successful.

PCR clean-up using peqGOLD Gel Extraction Kit according to the manual.
