I have been fascinated by life ever since I have dissected a grasshopper and my curiosity eventually led me to the playground of microbiology. I have spend my bachelor internship working on Streptomyces, highly complex soil bacteria which produce a large number of antibiotics. This internship eventually led me to this iGEM team with which I have spend a nice summer!</p></td>

Dear mother, iGEM contestant from another team or random person who googled my name. I'm the stowaway from the university of Leiden who ended up in the Delft team by chance. My main jobs are playing around with pipettes and colouring inside of the lines. I have been fascinated by life ever since I have dissected a grasshopper and my curiosity eventually led me to the playground of microbiology. I have spend my bachelor internship working on Streptomyces, highly complex soil bacteria which produce a large number of antibiotics. This internship eventually led me to this iGEM team with which I have spend a nice summer!
