Genetic circuit




Figure 6. Whole genetic circuit. Arsenic enters the cell through GlpF transporter. It then binds ArsR and activates luciferase expression; at the same time it is captured by rhMT. Finally, cells are bound to a silica surface to be recovered from the medium.
