About

The following destain solution is used for coomassie dyed SDS pages.

Ingredients

Mix together the following contents under a fume hood:

500mL Methanol
100mL Acetic Acid
400mL dH2O

Application

SDS page gel is placed in a small tub and covered in destain solution
