Gel Electrophoresis

Construct a gel - Medium size


1.      Weigh 0.8g agarose

2.      Mix with 100ml TBEx1 solution

3.      Heat in a microwave until all the agarose is dissolved and the solution is clear.

4.      Cool it down a bit before adding Ethidium Bromide (warning: toxic)

5.      Pour the solution into a gel casting mold and use a comb of desired size.

6.      Run at 100V for 40 minutes.
