Overview

Ehime-Japan iGEM team aims to create communication systems and a timer. Also, we use Lon protease and ssrA from mycoplasma to degrade different proteins simultaneously. We use cyanobacterial genes, Lux and Las systems for the communication systems. Green light sensor genes and red light sensor genes are from Synechocystis. Lon protease and ssrA are from Mesoplasma florum.

Background

We thought that it sounds fun if a communication system is built with E. coli. Our degradation system realizes to degrade protein specifically, and that will be useful in the area of pharmacy. So, we chose our projects.
