These days we had our first meeting with all the people taking part in the iGEM2012 team UPIBI-MEXICO! We were introduced to each other and shared general ideas of what we thought synthetic biology is and the iGEM competition is about and what we would like to bring to the project. Then our a instructors gave a presentation where they talked about synthetic biology and answer the questions we had about it and explained what can be done and what can´t in the time we have to develop the project.
