We achieved several points for the human practices part:

• Have an insight on what people think synthetic biology is (Surveys).
• Determine what aspects of research in this field still causes social problems (Surveys).
• Increase the visibility of the iGEM Project, especially at EPFL.
• Offer help to other teams (ETH Zurich and Primer Design Tool for wiki)

Talks

Presentation of synthetic biology, iGEM and our project at the EPFL stand of the Geneva student fair 2012-2013. Surveys on Synthetic biology were handed out. People appreciated the concept despite not being too fond of GMOs. A lot of people linked synthetic biology to textiles.
