Visiting Secondary Schools Wageningen iGEM Team Mini Symposium The Discovery Festival Stakeholders Munich CAS Conference

Throughout the summer, our team has undertaken multiple projects to explain our own ideas to both the scientific world and stakeholders, and more generally, create public awareness about Synthetic Biology.

We were allowed to present both our project at the CAS conference in Munich, where we received useful advice and had a great time with other iGEM teams. Besides, we had interviews with different stakeholders to investigate how our ideas are perceived by the groups involved. To get more feedback about our project, we invited all Dutch teams to present their project plans in Wageningen. This mini symposium was the start of a national effort to be present at all three locations of the Discovery Festival. Besides, two of our team members visited a secondary school where they taught about Synthetic Biology
