BCIP

BCIP is the abbreviation of 5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl phosphate is an artificial chromogenic substrate used for the sensitive colorimetric detection of alkaline phosphatase activity.[1]

Application

For dissolving:

  • 0,5 g 5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl phosphate (BCIP)
  • 10 mL 100% DMF

mix thoroughly.
