Taq polymerase

About

Taq is a thermostable DNA polymerase originated from Thermuss aquaticus and used in the polymerase chain reaction.

Working conditions

  • 98°C denaturation temperature
  • ~10 s/kb extension velocity (at 72°C)
  • (TM-5)°C=TA
