The DNA of our Polero virus finally arrived! It turns out not to be the Potato Leafroll Virus (PLRV), but instead the Turnip Yellows Virus (TuYV) which is a close relative (also from the Polero genus).

TuYV PCR 6 different Coat Protein (CP) constructs were amplified from the TuYV genome, adding iGEM pre- and suffixes and a Histidine tag.
