The French froggies: an artificial hormonal system in tadpoles
Establishment of a new chassis
The first objective of this project is to establish the fundamentals of synthetic biology for the Xenopus. Our project is the first in the iGEM competition working on a multicellular organism: the future of synthetic biology ?!This is to develop and characterize a library of "brick" elements (promoters, rapporteurs, genes, tissue specific expression etc..) that will be formatted with "BioBriques" for integration the Registry of Standard Biological Parts.
This allows direct reuse of our results by students in future editions of iGEM, and by research teams worldwide.
