   Ehime-Japan team aims to create the communication systems which are circulatable. To realize our prijects, we use cyanobacterial genes, Lux and Las systems, Lon protease and ssrA from mycoplasma. Green light sensor and red light sensor genes from Synechocystis are used as "Cell-cell signaling" like Lux and Las systems. To make a circular system, we develop a degradation system with Lon protease and ssrA from Mesoplasma florum.

Background

We thought that it sounds fun if a communication system is built with E. coli and it is used repeatedly. In addition, today, it is very important to recycle what someone used. So, we chose our projects.
