Sporulation and Germination

Sporulation: O → O → 0 → o → °.

*Please note this is not a biologically accurate representation of sporulation or germination. Cells don't really shrink to spores, that would be silly. Spores are generated by mother cells forming endospores, internal spore like structures. The mother cells then lyse to release the resilient spores.
