Jamborees

For iGEM 2012, teams will participate in a two-tiered competition. Regional Jamborees will be held in October and the World Championship Jamboree will be held on the first weekend of November. There will be five Regions for iGEM 2012, and a percentage of teams from each Regional Jamboree will advance to the World Championship.

iGEM 2012 Jamboree Schedule:

Asia Regional Jamboree: Date TBD, Hong Kong
Europe Regional Jamboree: October 5-7, VU Amsterdam, Netherlands
Latin America Regional Jamboree: October 5-7, Colombia
North America East Regional Jamboree: TBD
North America West Regional Jamboree: TBD

World Championship Jamboree: November 2-5, MIT, Cambridge, MA
