Macquarie University is a public, research based university with its main campus situated in Sydney. The university has four faculties - Business & Economics, Arts, Science and Human Sciences and offers 87 undergraduate and 124 postgraduate degrees in a wide range of areas including actuarial studies, accounting, health, laws, chiropractics, psychology, science and many more disciplines.
The university is situated on a park-like campus encompassing 126 hectares of land with approximately 37,000 students and 2468 staff in attendance. Within the campus is the Macquarie University Lake where students unwind and socialise and is the home of many species of birds and other visiting creatures.
