2012年7月21日，第十一届中国国际合唱节圆满落下帷幕，天津大学北洋合唱团凭借原创作品《三十幅》和拉脱维亚作品《祈求》两首合唱曲目，在166支国内外优秀的合唱团中脱颖而出，一举夺得了成人混声组金奖，优秀钢琴伴奏奖第一名的好成绩，在北洋的众多荣誉中又增添了浓墨重彩的一笔。

第一段

Our Science Expo Network aims to introduce the knowledge and future of synthetic biology to the ordinary people in China, which is a potential country in the field of scientific research and economic cooperation. It’s can be called a great attempt in synthetic biology. We make use of Chinese four largest interactive network platforms(www.weibo.com; www.douban.com; www.blog.sina.com.cn; www.renren.com; ) to enlarge the popularity of synthetic biology who come from different age, educational and work level and most of them are Chinese younger generation of intellectuals.
We regularly publish science articles, do public activities, inspection and testing which is aimed at making Chinese people understand more about synthetic biology and iGEM by multi-faceted means of text, images, games, and testing. The establishment of a network platform ensures the rapid dissemination of information and a tremendous amount of reading. Just within one month of establishment of our network, we earn much advocacy and widespread concern. Addition to the great charm and potential of synthetic biology, our good method to spread the knowledge is an important factor.

At the beginning of the “i” of iGEM, we opens the following forums:
i PRESS: we release the latest information related to the newly discovered synthetic biology or life sciences.
i KNOWLEDGE: this forum contains some fundamental knowledge about synthetic biology to help people who are stranger to this field to know more.
i MAP：we make a timeline of the form of synthetic biology on the picture. If you want to know what happened in the past and what will happen in the future of synthetic biology, come with us to enjoy the travel in the i MAP.
iGEM, this forum will regard iGEM as the core. It includes project analysis, match point analysis and comprehensive reviews.
i INTEREST: biochemical movie, biological game and so on.
i CHARITY (charitable activities online part)：since transgenic technology applications is increasingly popular, we launch an activity called “seek for the safer future” to appeal the researchers to pay more attention to ensure the safety of transgenic technology.

在经过了半个多月紧张的排练后，北洋合唱团迎来了自己的比赛。2012年7月17日中午，合唱团抵达北京，在稍作休整后，团长便将大家集合起来进行比赛前的最后一次发声练习和曲目排练，北洋合唱团常任指挥任宝平老师也一直鼓励大家，并让大家放松心态，最后一次强调曲目中需要注意的地方。下午5点，合唱团到达中央民族音乐厅，在组委会的协助下进行走台和彩排。晚上7点，比赛正式开始，天津大学北洋合唱团作为当天成人混声D组的第一支队伍，用一首北洋原创的曲目《三十幅》拉开了比赛的序幕。

《三十幅》由北洋合唱团驻团作曲家崔薇老师创作，歌词选自道家创始人老子的《道德经》，道家的“无”的思想和精神在这首作品中得到了很好的阐释，歌词与旋律相得益彰，因此在演唱时需要对歌词有深刻的理解，技巧上和音准上的要求也很高，只有这种高要求才能将这首作品中所蕴含的中国传统思想中内在的东西表现出来。北洋在这点上做的很到位，在台上将这首作品演绎的淋漓尽致，开场就博得了满堂喝彩。

第5段

接下来是一首拉脱维亚作品《祈求》，这部作品是根据格列高素歌的元素所创作的现代的、高难度的合唱作品，有很大的演唱难度。整首作品分为三部分，每一部分的难度都很高,在排练的过程中遇到了很多的困难,包括和乐器的配合上,力度的协调上等等,因此在演唱时对作品的把握很困难,平时的排练也着重的强调了这些问题,每一位团员都很敬业,不断地揣摩,纠正发音,比赛当天,合唱团发挥出了正常的水平,平时一次次强调的问题在舞台上都没有出现,大家的努力最终没有白费.这首作品演绎的很完美.

正是由于勤勤恳恳的排练和比赛时正常的发挥,天津大学北洋合唱团在166支国内外优秀的团队中夺得了成人混声组的金奖,并且获得了优秀钢琴伴奏奖的第一名，合唱团出色的表现赢得了国内外评委的高度赞扬，很多国际知名的评委在看到北洋的演出后都表示，“北洋音色”是走在世界的最前端的，北洋合唱团是这次比赛中他们所看到的最出色的合唱团。

在即将到来的2012韩国丽水世博会中,北洋合唱团将代表中国赴韩国参加演出,期待他们更加精彩的表现..
