Plug 'n Apply System
A big challenge of our project is the attachment of ligands and functional proteins on either the outside or inside of a virus-like particle (VLP). The packaging of molecules and binding of ligands is achieved by an anchor-like system. Heterodimeric α-helical coiled coils are attached to the capsid proteins on the inside or outside of the three different viruses.
