The LMU-Munich team is exuberantly happy about the great success at the World Championship Jamboree in Boston. Our project Beadzillus finished 4th and won the prize for the "Best Wiki" (with Slovenia) and "Best New Application Project".

We divided our safety section into two parts:
- concerning the questions of the iGEM safety page:see Laboratory safety
- concerning safety aspects of our project in more detailed form: Project safety
In order to get a profound statement about the safety aspects of our project and how realistic it is to release our spores in the environment we invited the commissioner for Bio-Safety in Bavaria. Read the full protocol about the meeting here.
