Our open day preparation did not originally go as planned. Of all our constructs (Green, orange, cyan, red fluorescent protein) only one GFP colony was grown. This was subcultured onto nutrient agar and ampicilin, a broth was also innoculated. This was observed under UV-light- it was fluorescent! We decided to continue with this inoculate.
