Protocol 6

Biobrick Extraction

  • Suspend DNA in 10ul of water by pipetting up and down on selected wells on Biobrick plate wells. Leave for five minutes and then add to eppendorf.

  • Centrifuge for five seconds to spin down to the bottom of the tube.

  • Pipetted DNA very gently into competent cells (see Protocol 1).
