Overview
As our project envisions genetically modified organisms in the scope of food production, it is essential to involve the general public in our project.
To achieve this, several steps were taken.
Expert Interviews
During the thoeretical stage, two experts on the field of food engineering were interviewed on the desirability and feasibility of certain ingredients.

To raise awareness for our project during the competition we are closely cooperating with laborwelt.de, a german news organisation focused on biotechnology. Furthermore we regularly give updates on the progress of our project on our Facebook page as well as on our Twitter timeline.

Video Commercial
Our project‘s aim is to create a beer that is as close as possible to a selling product. Hence we are producing a commercial to advertise our beer as well as our project to a broader audience.

Politics
Working with genetically modified organisms is highly regulated in Germany. To discuss this situation and possibly work out solutions, we are organising a get-together of politicians from several political parties as well as experts on the field of GMOs mid-september.
