The goal of this project is not to cover full information of every single bio-device. Our purpose is to contribute to beginner in the field of synthetic biology for learning the best examples of bio-devices through participating this exiting ranking event. Bio-capsule E. coli
-Spherical E. coli cluster that can accumulate macromolecules in it-
We have designed three modules to make E. coli implementing the function as a bio-capsule. First module is for producing high-value added macromolecules. Second module is for aggregation of E. coli by cell-cell interaction through adhesion molecule located on the surface of outer membrane. Third module is for collecting produced materials to the central space of the capsule.
