<p>Download MySQL as a .dmg file <a href="http://cdn.mysql.com/Downloads/MySQL-5.5/mysql-5.5.28-osx10.6-x86.dmg">here</a>. After it has downloaded, double click it to view the files inside of the .dmg. You'll see a two .pkg files as well as a .prefPane file.
