"As it probably happens to other teams in this Latin American regional contest, working in a place where scientific research is not part of the culture, time for delivery of materials played strongly against us. We received everything we needed, incredibly, just two weeks and a half before the deadline to send the biobricks. In spite of this, and because we have been working around the clock (2 am, 7 am, 3 am were usual times in the lab), we are steadily and surely assembling all our parts and we managed to send some of those for the deadline. We could not send all the construct yet, but we are confident that before the Jamboree in Bogotá takes place, we will give iGEM, the other teams, and the judges, reasons to be proud of our work. If all our enthusiasm and drive helps us, you all can expect a fulfilled job on the presentation day. Cheers to all of you!"
