Nate Amidei

A graduating senior from the ALHS Biotechnology class. He will be attending UC Davis in the Fall of 2012.

Verna Huang

Hi, my name is Verna Huang. I've loved science since 6th grade, and I hope to expand my interest in science through iGem. When not geeking out over synthetic biology, I like to read fiction of any kind, draw my surroundings, and swim. I intend to pursue a major in chemical engineering at University of California in Santa Barbara this fall.

Kendall Kearns

A graduating senior from the ALHS Biotechnology class. She will be attending UC Irvine in the Fall of 2012.

Louis Tan

A graduating senior from the ALHS Biotechnology class. Louis will be attending UC Berkeley as a Molecular and Cell Biology major in Fall 2012.

Helena Viets

Yesenia currently is a student at City College of San Francisco.

Super Buddies/Second Years

Sami Chu
Sami currently attends Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is hoping to major in Biology and English.
Julia Loi
Julia attends University of California, Irvine. Her hobbies consist of spending time with close friends and going out to eat good food. She loves that science is a never ending process of discovering how natural processes work.
Jingyi Xi
Jingyi is a recent graduate of Peking University and was on the 2011 PKU iGEM team. She will be joining our team for 6 weeks this summer and starting graduate school at PKU in the Fall.
