Welcome to Team; TMU-Tokyo wiki!

Our project is Chef Ant E. coli, Escherichia coli transformeted formaldehyde detoxification function.
The first of formaldehyde detoxification pathway is conversion formaldehyde to formate, as the right image. Chef Ant E. coli was named after this stage, formate was first purified from ants and farther formate conversion is seemed like ant eater.
