Northeastern iGEM Team: Welcome

A more detailed look at what we are trying to do:

The continues growth of synthetic biology as the future of genetic engineering demands well-structured, and easy to use software tools to help designing new biological system from scratch. Clotho is one of many platforms that aims to facilitate computer-aided design for biological engineering. Our group try to build a converter app that will port the data objects created by apps in Clotho to variety of biological circuit simulators, such as OpenCell. Similarly, the output of the simulator may be converted to standard Clotho data object. We believe that our work helps creating a better assembly line for synthetic biology design project in Clotho, particularly by adding third party simulation capabilities.
