The LMU-Munich team is exuberantly happy about the great success at the World Championship Jamboree in Boston. Our project Beadzillus finished 4th and won the prize for the "Best Wiki" (with Slovenia) and "Best New Application Project".

STOP SYMBOL: 24 February 2012 -- Team fully formed!
STOP SYMBOL: Date Date Date -- Jara (& Julia?) finished resistance-cassette KOs of genes: cwlD, cwlJ, sleB, and gerD.
STOP SYMBOL: 15 June 2012 -- Jenny presented her plan to the Mascher Work Group of making clean deletions of germination genes & a germination assay to quantify germination deficiency in mutants.
STOP SYMBOL: 05 July 2012 -- Jenny compiled & presented Bacillus germination review for the group. We discussed stages of germination & how our mutants would prevent germination from occurring. Discussed possible germination causes besides nutrients, and how to hopefully prevent them.
STOP SYMBOL: 07 August 2012 -- We successfully created double mutants using resistance cassettes as follows: DOUBLE MUTANTS!
STOP SYMBOL: 09 August 2012 -- We successfully created triple mutants using resistance cassettes as follows: TRIPLE MUTANTS (HOPEFULLY)
