Glycerol stock preparation

Goal

Glycerol stock is a way to store bacteria for a long period.

Protocol

You need to:
  1. Grow a liquid culture overnight.
  2. Prepare sterile 80% glycerol.
  3. Mix 200 µL of glycerol and 800 µL of liquid culture.

Then store the glycerol stock at -80°C.
