Glycerol stock preparation

Goal

Prepare glycerol stock is a way to store bacteria during a long period.

Protocol

You need to:
  1. grow a liquid culture overnight
  2. prepare sterile 80% glycerol
  3. mix 200 L of glycerol and 800 L of liquid culture

Then store the glycerol stock at -80°C.
