Our work environment: a key location for synthetic biology in France

The Institute of Systems and Synthetic Biology (iSSB):

iSSB is located on the Genopole® in Evry, host team in the summer. The iSSB is a laboratory at the University of Evry and CNRS, supported by Genopole®. It is a multidisciplinary environment or collaborate physicists, chemists, computer scientists and biologists. It is also the laboratory who founded and directs the Master 2 Systems Biology Synthetic and MSSB. This master of avant-garde, unique in France, offers courses provided by researchers at the forefront of their field, which guaranteed training in the state of the art techniques used in synthetic biology.

He has extensive experience in computer modeling in biology (PhD at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, a postdoc at the Polytechnic Institute of NYU).

Anna Mlynarczyk : Doctorante en 1ère anne a l’universite d’Évry en protéomique, elle a obtenu un Master en Biotechnologie à la Westpomeranian University of Technology de Szczecin en Pologne. Pendant son parcours universitaire elle a effectué plusieurs stages à l’étranger (UEVE, TEPAK Cyprus) ainsi qu’en Pologne ce qui lui a donné envie de faire de la recherche. Anna effectue également du monitorat, ce qui lui permet de développer ses capacités pédagogiques.

Cyrille Pauthenier : Étudiant de l’École Normale Supérieure et membre du mSSB, Cyrille Pauthenier a participé à la compétition iGEM 2011 avec l’équipe Paris-Bettencourt qui a été finaliste et a gagné le prix de la meilleure présentation lors de la demi-finale européenne, puis était dans le top 16 lors de la finale au MIT.
