Preparation of Primer Stock Protocol

  • Protocol for preparing the concentrated primers to be able to be used in DNA sequencing is the following:
    1. Add 20x primer weight of deionized water to concentrated primer
    2. Vortex 20 seconds of sample with concentrated primer and deionized water
    3. Centrifuge for 10 seconds of the sample
    4. Diluted sample 100x again for use as stock
