/* ~~ These are the columns for the layout. ~~

-

-
1) Padding is only placed on the top and/or bottom of the divs. The elements within these divs have padding on their sides. This saves you from any "box model math". Keep in mind, if you add any side padding or border to the div itself, it will be added to the width you define to create the *total* width. You may also choose to remove the padding on the element in the div and place a second div within it with no width and the padding necessary for your design.

-

-
2) No margin has been given to the columns since they are all floated. If you must add margin, avoid placing it on the side you're floating toward (for example: a right margin on a div set to float right). Many times, padding can be used instead. For divs where this rule must be broken, you should add a "display:inline" declaration to the div's rule to tame a bug where some versions of Internet Explorer double the margin.

-

-
3) Since classes can be used multiple times in a document (and an element can also have multiple classes applied), the columns have been assigned class names instead of IDs. For example, two sidebar divs could be stacked if necessary. These can very easily be changed to IDs if that's your preference, as long as you'll only be using them once per document.

-

-
4) If you prefer your nav on the left instead of the right, simply float these columns the opposite direction (all left instead of all right) and they'll render in reverse order. There's no need to move the divs around in the HTML source.

<p> If you have Celiac Disease or are Gluten-Intolerant (and  are over 21), stop what you are doing right now. Your prayers for a  great tasting gluten-free beer have finally been answered, or at least  are in the process of being answered. Think of it as a delay in the  mailroom. All of those nights when your friends were taunting you with  the ice cold, delicious, golden liquid that gives courage to even the  most faint of heart are quickly coming to an end. Your desire to enjoy a  &quot;cold one&quot; without having a gut-wrenching reaction should be fullfilled  by the end of the summer. The CSU iGEM team is working on producing a  &quot;gluten-free&quot; beer that can be brewed from wheat or barley so you can  savor that same great taste you know and love. So cross your fingers,  bust out your lucky rabbits foot, and watch out for black cats because  we are gearing up for something big, and it has never been done before. </p>

Meet the Team

Steven Denham

The Houdini of the lab, Steven can do things with a pipettor that will have you wondering where you are and what just happened. And as though that isn't enough, he's a research genius. He makes Post-Docs look like High School Freshman.

Dave Packard

Math Wizard, Code Genius, Racquet Sports Pro... We call him a lot of things, but he prefers Dave.

Guy Stewart

He claims he's just a regular guy, but we don't believe him. Guy is the embodiment of natural biology and you can expect to see him on the cover of Home Brewer magazine any day now.

Ethan Ho

A young up-and-coming tech expert, Ethan has been writing code since you were in diapers. You can expect big things from this kid. Before you know it, he'll have us all saying Mark Zucker...WHO?

Ryan Clouse

Ryan who? This guy showed up by noon if we were lucky. Strangely he was always on time for our brewery tours. Passionate about beers, Ryan will be our guinea pig if we ever go to clinical trials with our synthetic yeast.
