iGEM Colombia has proposed as human practices activities two different approaches, in the social and legislative aspects. The basic objectives of the social activities are the integration of the team with the community as well as the divulgation and teaching of basic concepts in synthetic biology through our project’s idea. In the legislative aspect, our goal will be to create spaces where opinions and ideas are exposed in order to promote discussion and contribute to the continuous search of solutions to the problematic related with scientific investigation within the legal frame in Colombia.
