Risks

The real risks associated with this protocol are the risks associated with Gel electrophoresis, the risk assessment for which can be found here. Waste from the master mix preparation can be disposed of through normal laboratory procedures but anything that has come into contact with SYBR safe must be considered hazardous chemical waste (consult the poster on the safety homepage for disposal information).
